Privacy Policy
IronChad (“IronChad”, “The Quitting Haram System”, “we”, “our” or “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. It applies to [www.ironchad.com] and [ironchad.systeme.io] (the “Site”) and to our programme, content and services (the “Services”).
1. Information we collect
We never sell your personal data. We only share it when there's a good reason, and only with:
- Companies that help us run our service. These include hosting and course platforms (such as Systeme.io), payment processors, email delivery, analytics, support and community tools. They act on our behalf and are bound by contracts that require them to keep your data safe.
- Authorities, when the law requires it, or when safety is at stake. For example, to meet a legal obligation or to protect the rights and safety of IronChad, our members or others.
- A new owner, if our business changes hands. If IronChad is ever sold, merged or restructured, we'll let you know, and the new owner must honour this policy.
- Anyone else, only with your permission. If we ever want to share your information for another reason, we'll ask you first.
Anything personal you share with us, such as your struggles or your beliefs, is treated with extra care. We never use it for advertising. We only share it with the service providers we need to deliver your programme, or where the law requires us to.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- create and manage your account and give you access to the programme
- process payments and send confirmations, invoices and receipts
- deliver, personalise and support the Services
- respond to your questions and requests
- send service and security messages
- send marketing emails where you have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time)
- analyse usage and improve the Site and Services
- prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations
We only use your personal information when we have a good reason, and the law says what counts as one. For us, that means:
- To provide our service to you. We need to use your details to deliver what you’ve signed up for.
- When you say yes. For sensitive information you choose to share with us.
- To run and improve our service. We may use your information to keep things secure, fix problems and make our service better, where we’ve checked this is fair to you and doesn’t override your rights.
- When the law requires it. For example, to keep financial records.
3. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:
- Service providers who act on our behalf, such as hosting and course platform providers (e.g. Systeme.io), payment processors, email delivery, analytics, support and community tools, under contracts that require them to protect your data.
- Legal and safety recipients, where required by law or to protect the rights, property or safety of IronChad, our users or others.
- Business transfers, in connection with a merger, sale or financing, in which case we will tell you and the new owner must honour this policy.
- Others with your consent.
We will not use your sensitive information (such as details about your struggles or beliefs) for advertising, and we will not share it with third parties except service providers needed to deliver the Services or where required by law.
4. International transfers
Some of our providers are located outside the UK. Where we transfer data abroad, we use safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.
5. How long we keep data
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above: generally for the length of your account and longer where the law requires. You may request to delete your data and account at any point in time.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your data, object to processing, withdraw consent at any time, and request a portable copy of your data. To exercise a right, email using the email we will provide once joining.
7. Cookies
We use cookies and similar tools to run the Site, remember preferences and understand how the Site is used. Where required, we ask for your consent for non-essential cookies, and you can change your browser settings to refuse them.
8. Security
We take the security of your information seriously. We use a range of technical and organisational safeguards, such as secure systems, restricted access and staff confidentiality, to protect your data from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
9. Children
The Services are for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 and will delete it promptly if we learn we have.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page.
