Coasting
Yesterday I rode long with Shawn, touring the Southwest valley. We did 85 miles followed by a 2 mile jog in the 11AM heat. The run was miserable for half a mile, but then I felt strong. I feel ready to race, though I don't know that I'll meet my goals. More on goals next Monday.Looking back at the last 7 months of training, I realized that OOPS, I haven't nearly trained as much as I did for Ironman Arizona 2010, my first Ironman race. Check out the info-graphic, and be info-tained.

Flame on
Adam blogged about, fitness differences between runners and triathletes. That's a loaded topic for sure.I think triathletes are more well rounded. I suspect that a swimmer/runner would be enough, no need to bike at all. I'm getting less and less enamored with riding these days. I think it leaves my back hunched and my knees bowed.
Then there's the "who is more attractive?" debate. I think runner girls are MUCH better looking than triathlete girls. I think triathlete guys are much better looking than runners. Sorry, Adam, do some pushups. Maybe it's all about shoulders from swimming. Again, run and swim, and you'll be okay.

All of that said, if you read Adam's post, again here, you'll see it's probably just a misunderstanding of what his doctor really meant.
[owl pun here]?
On a more awesome note, I unofficially own an owl. This little dude has moved into the eves of my house. I think he's a screech owl, though I'm up for other interpretations. Here's a picture of him contemplating eating my daughters, that's so raven!![]() |

I'd make an owl pun, but at this point you've proven yourself too retarded to understand it.
